Meeting in Mandarin

John 3:16 ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…’

It is unexpected. It is exciting. A breath of fresh air has been infused in our church family. We have the most magnificent, culturally diverse church at Park Royal Bible (www.parkroyalbible.com). We have been blessed during our ministry in Mississauga to have people attend our church from all over the world. Africa, Asia, India, United States of America – and across Canada, too!

However, we now have a group of people from China, speaking Mandarin attending our church in a special Bible study in their language! To see the joy on their faces as they came on the first day of meetings, it made any doubts that we might have melt away. They are eager to continue their Bible studies in their native tongue and we have a part in helping them in this endeavour.

There was a lot of smiling and I wonder what questions lay behind the smiles. I hope that our body language is welcoming, they can hear the excited tones in our English greetings and they feel this is their new church family.

Our church reflects Heaven itself – people from all nations joining together to worship in Spirit and in Truth. We love one another, respect one another and unite to bring the message of God’s love to anyone who walks through the doors. It is a privilege to be a part of this group. Welcome to our church family!

The cultural diversity is one of the things we miss most about PRBC! It’s a very special church and probably not another like it anywhere.
