IperCOOP August 4, 2010

This story is a break in the flow of the day long birthday party, however it happened, and I had to write about it for the laughter it created and for another question about why things are as they are in Italy.

The supermarket has a few names here, as we would expect – however one chain name is IperCOOP. We know that means its a cooperative – just so you know we’re fairly well educated, in case you read this and are disgusted at our silliness. (This is My Beloved, once again, urging me to write about this).

We have been awakened by roosters crowing in Italy, but the local rooster seems to be from a different part of the world time zones, because he crows about 1 P.M. in Dudda. We laughed about it so much because My Beloved told us the rooster was crowing because he discovered IperCOOP – the super COOP and he had his pick of all the hens and he was letting everyone know of his bounty.

We laughed till we cried over this assessment.
